Requirements for the Baptism of children ages up to 6: 1) Parent(s) must be active registered members of Saint Theresa Parish; 2) Parents must attend one informational session and two formational sessions prior to their child's Baptism; 3) Parents must call the Parish Office 2 months in advance to sign up for baptismal preparation classes and to schedule the Baptism.

CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR CHILDREN (AGES 7-13)

The Children's Initiation Program is offered for children who are between the ages of seven and thirteen and have not been baptized, and for children who have been baptized in other Christian denominations. Following the process described in the Rite of Christian Initiation of adults (RCIA), Children's Initiation follows a process that will lead children in to full communion with the Catholic Church. Ministers can serve the children in Initiation by helping with secretarial tasks, preparation of and participation in retreats, serving as a Catechist, Sponsor, and through prayer support.
