FUNERAL RECEPTION MINISTRY

Pastoral Care Ministers, called Apostolic Ministers of Care, help prepare a reception for the family following the Funeral Mass for their loved one. Families in grief often do not have the physical or mental ability to prepare a reception at this time of sorrow. This is a holy ministry that enables friends and family to gather together after the service to share healing memories of their loved one. This act of community hospitality is deeply appreciated and speaks of the love that our community has for those who are in grief. Help is needed with food, set-up, or clean-up (whichever fits you best) about once a month.
