The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has asked that Catholics across the country participate in an emergency collection for the relief of those whose lives have been devastated by Hurricane Katrina. The relief efforts are being coordinated through Catholic Charities USA, an agency under direct supervision of the Bishops' Conference.

The proceeds of this weekend's second collection are being sent directly to the Hurricane Relief Fund of Catholic Charities… if you were unprepared for this emergency collection when you came to Mass, we invite you to send your contribution directly to:
